THANK YOU for choosing Doc’s of Denver for your cleaning needs! We have been serving our amazing Denver Metro community for over 50 years… and have always been very customer-centric. We will do everything possible to ensure your satisfaction with the conscientious quality service you receive!
Please read the entirety of this message as we want you to know exactly what to expect from your cleaning experience with Doc’s of Denver! We know, we know…it’s a little lengthy, but it’s a great read..so grab your drink of choice and review the following notes!
You have already booked a job with our office staff either by phone or online so we should know exactly what services/items/areas we can count on cleaning for you on your project day and time. IF you should decide to add or remove any areas or services, please reach out to us ASAP. We schedule our technician’s days in a very time-budgeted manner, so it is extremely helpful to have as much info as possible so we can stay on track for the entirety of the day.
Your technician(s) will do everything they can to arrive promptly at the scheduled appointment time and you will receive a text when they are en route to your property. They will be in a marked vehicle (with the exception of estimates or rug pick up/drop offs) and will be wearing clean, presentable company attire. They will request your assistance in a quick walk through so that they may verify the work order, provide any and all recommendations and options, discuss questions or areas of concern, as well as any other specific requests or instructions. They will then generate an invoice and present the exact price before work is started. (If the decision maker will not be present once the total price is available, customer is to provide specific instructions of who to contact if price needs to be verified before starting job.)Technician(s) will also communicate any necessary updates during service if customer is available to speak.
We come prepared to tackle anything you could throw at us… so we have a lot of stuff and typically drive cargo vans and box trucks! Especially since all of the big, heavy equipment is truck-mounted, we need to park relatively close to the property we are working on. Driveways are great! Sometimes alleys are too! Street parking is just fine as well, but if you live in 1) an area of town where street parking is at a premium, 2) a condo association where parking spots are deeded or reserved, or 3) other logistically difficult addresses, please communicate with us and typically we can work together to figure out an option and avoid challenges the day of your appointment. *IF WE ARE USING A PORTABLE SETUP for your cleaning project (typically high-rises, apartments, locked and secured commercial jobs), we may need to discuss options/rules for your specific location/HOA or building allowances and mandates.* Please remember that using portable equipment does incur an additional fee.an additional fee.
Please make a plan for your pets according to their temperament/needs/safety/etc. for the duration of the cleaning project. If you feel comfortable leaving them to “roam” as we are working, we are totally ok with that, but please ensure that this will be a positive choice for both the pet and the technician.
We are happy to accommodate just about every situation, but we highly suggest taking a moment to think about how you would like us to proceed in each of these areas:
Furniture - Please give the technician(s) exact instructions if you would like us to move and clean under your furniture. We won’t take any liberties of handling your property unless we are instructed to, so just point out any furniture to be moved on your pre-inspection walk-through.
Valuables - Please consider moving/pointing out items that you are “extra” concerned about. We are pretty sharp and can identify items/areas that require special care, but we sure appreciate our customers having a plan/giving us directions when it comes to these items so that we can work efficiently throughout the project.
Breakables - Similar to above… it helps us tremendously if picture frames, vases, lamps, figurines, etc are moved to a designated area to protect them and keep them safe. This is very helpful when we are removing the furniture that these items usually live on. Again, it allows us to work efficiently and productively!
As with most carpet cleaning companies, Doc’s uses a fresh water source from the customer’s home for the duration of the cleaning project. We must have a constant fresh water source to complete work on the day of your project. We prefer to hook up to an outdoor water spigot, but do have adaptors for a handful of interior sinks if needed. Please confirm that your outdoor spigot is both on and functional… especially in the colder months! Because of the wide array of inherent issues with individual properties, spigots, maintenance, etc..we cannot assume responsibility for malfunctioning pipes, spigots, sinks, fixtures, etc. We will treat/handle everything properly and responsibly..and communicate immediately if there seems to be any concerning issues. If you have ANY questions or concerns regarding a fresh water source, please discuss with us ASAP to ensure that there are no challenges the day of your appointment.**The amount of water used while on site is incredibly minimal..(usually about the amount used for a shower or bath.)
We are so fortunate to live in a state where the sun shines over 300 days throughout the year, however, there are certainly a handful of days throughout the year that are just not possible to clean. We can (and will!) clean in most conditions… and have taken a number of precautions to ensure that we consider your comfortability on the less than ideal days (we have fancy door insulative covers, walk off mats, etc.) so rest assured everything will go just fine even if it is a little cold or snowy out. If, however, it is literally unsafe to be out on the roads or if falling temperatures dictate possible issues with running our equipment, we will communicate with you and figure out all the best possible alternatives for everyone.
We cherish the opportunity to “customize” each experience for our customers as everyone has their own perspective on what the “perfect carpet cleaning experience” looks like. We will always treat every customer and their homes with respect and care, and we demonstrate this by using floor coverings, corner guards, door blockers, among other items. If there’s something specific that you would like us to do or be mindful of, just ask! If it’s important to you, it’s important to us!
We know… you’ll be just crushed when it’s time for us to go… but we will keep in touch, we promise! As we are completing your project, we will be packing up and removing all of our belongings and wrapping up any post project cleaning and tidying that may be necessary. We will also take the time to discuss any applicable info and answer any questions you have!
Now it’s time to relax in peace and quiet and enjoy your clean home! In order to set you up for success, we typically ask customers to:
- Limit traffic on the areas cleaned
- Ensure good constant air flow to promote efficient drying
- Consider special precautions that may need to be taken for children, elderly, or other residents that may have a difficult time navigating the home as things are drying up (ask your technician for any and all tips-they are happy to help!)
- Wear socks, booties or house slippers as everything dries up
- Keep wood and metal off of areas until dry (or keep provided blocks or tabs under furniture until dry)
Unless specific arrangements have been made, we collect payment at the completion of the job. We don’t “invoice” and unfortunately we don’t finance 🙂. We don’t have a net 30/60/90 system. (Certain commercial accounts are an exception) Thankfully, this is a rarity, but unpaid balances that are ignored are automatically forwarded to a 3rd party and incur additional penalties and fees. Not fun for any of us! We accept all major credit cards, checks, and cash. If the homeowner will not be present/available as we wrap up, we ask that you arrange a plan with the office to submit payment by end of day.
There are a TON of companies out there that throw out some pretty enticing “guarantees” or “warranties”. After doing this for 50 years, we’ve seen a bunch of them come and go… and it’s typically because they just can’t follow through with certain extreme promises. At Doc’s, we will be very transparent and forthright about what we feel is appropriate and necessary to get the best results possible for your specific project. We will be honest about the appropriate expectations… good or not so good. We have dialed in a very thorough and exhaustive protocol for all of the services that we offer and we will use any and all means to achieve success. While others may guarantee this or that, we simply will not, as many times those guarantees are either marketing ploys or require inappropriate/unsafe methods or products. What we gladly do is stand behind every job we perform. We will never leave your home without your approval of the completed job, but sometimes issues arise. Spots can reappear. Questions may arise over dinner. These things happen. If you have ANY questions or concerns post-cleaning, please reach out. We want the opportunity to see what can be done and we only have that opportunity if we receive that communication. We invite you to vet us on any platform out there and decide if we are the people that you trust to be in your home, doing quality work and providing elite customer service.
